Little Wenfork Campsite - Activities The Campsite provides a peaceful location where the views of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor can be admired. Based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Tamar Valley, the Campsite is an excellent base to explore the various attractions such as, Cotehele Estate, Sailing, Fishing & Boat trips along the River Tamar. Visitors can walk along the country lanes and take in the surrounding countryside, directly from the campsite. The Nationally acclaimed Duchy College specialising in agriculture and sports is only two miles away. The campsite is ideally situated for this venue. A good bus service is available from Treburley (0.5 miles walk), to Callington and Plymouth in the south, Launceston and Bude to the north. |
Callington in an ancient market town with a famous mural trail under the shadow of Kit Hill, a Country Park, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Callington Town website. Launceston is the ancient capital and gateway to Cornwall, with its Castle (National Heritage). The town has a good selection of local shops, supported by easily accessable car parking. The local public house, 'The Springer Spaniel' is only 1/2 a miles walk
away down a lovely single track Cornish lane. They serve very good food
made from local produce together with a wide selection of real ales, wines
